        Teaching Assistant Level 1 – two posts Grade 3

        We are seeking to appoint two caring, enthusiastic and motivated Level 1 Teaching Assistants to join our friendly committed staff team.

         Posts 1 – Teaching Assistant – 32.5 hours per week temporary to August 2020

        This post will involve working as support for teaching and learning within English and maths lessons across a range of year groups. A minimum qualification of NVQ Level 2 or equivalent (to include English and Maths) and a minimum of 2 years experience of working with children are essential.  A level 3 qualification is desirable.

        Post 2 – Teaching Assistant SEND

        This post will involve working with children supporting a range of SEND requirements.  A minimum qualification of NVQ Level 2 or equivalent is essential.  A Level 3 qualification and experience of working with children with complex SEN are desirable.

        All posts will require successful candidates to be patient, caring and positive together with an ability to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team.

        EARLY YEARS SCHOOL APPRENTICESHIP VACANCIES

        We are now recruiting for two Early Years Apprentices from September 2019 on an 18-month contract.

        Level 3 CACHE Children and Young People’s Workforce – Early Years Educator and Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools

        Early Years Assistant (Apprentice) x 2

        A vacancy exists for two early years assistants to provide support for the Foundation Stage teachers and other nursery staff with meeting the learning, developmental and care needs of children attending the Nursery and Reception classes.   Candidates must be motivated and committed to achieving the qualification.  They will also be expected to develop an ability to use their own initiative with guidance and must have effective communication skills with children and adults.  Candidates must demonstrate why they wish to work with children.

        Qualifications required: GCSEs or equivalent in both English and Maths

        PE AND SCHOOL SPORT APPRENTICESHIP VACANCY

         We are now recruiting for a PE and School Sport apprentice from September 2019 on a 12-month contract.

        The successful applicant will work in our school 4 days per week and will have one day a week of high-quality tuition and practical training with inspire+ at a localised training venue.

        • This is a 40 hour per week contract, including college time, 52 weeks of the year
        • The pay will be based at a minimum of £3.90 per hour
        • You will be expected to work term time only
        • In school you would be tasked with supporting and leading PE lessons, lunch and playtime activities, clubs and events to raise the profile of PE and School Sport in schools
        • We will offer you mentor support in your school, excellent training opportunities and additional sports qualifications
        • An inspire+ tutor will support you throughout the year
        • We are looking for people to join schools, be enthusiastic and inspire them through PE and Sport
        • The post is subject to safeguarding checks, including an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references
