2 year old children are eligible to access the free entitlement if the family meets the Free School Meals criteria or if they are looked after by the local authority. Additional children will also be considered for funding during 2013/14 in order to build towards the extended offer to 40% of all 2 year olds in September 2014.
Children become eligible for the Entitlement for 2 Year Olds from the term after their second birthday. Eligibility continues until the end of the school term in which the child turns three; this ensures a seamless transition to the free Early Years Entitlement for 3 and 4 year olds.

Children access their entitlement of 15 hours free funding over the week. If we have the availability we can offer a limited amount of spaces for flexible hours on top of the funded 15 hours. There is a pricing structure in place for any provision over the 15 hours. Please contact Mrs Helen Magan (details below) for further information.
We operate a flexible approach to admissions to our Foundation Stage Unit. Children are welcomed as soon as is practicable after their 3rd birthday subject to places being available.
We offer a range of options for parents to access their entitlement to their early years funding including:
Children move through to the Reception class and commence full time attendance within the Foundation Stage unit in September of the year in which they turn 5.
However, a place in the Nursery does not guarantee a place in the Reception class. An application through the LA still needs to be made. More information is available on the school admissions page.
